AKLA (ACH-la, “awesome”) is a free five-Sunday fellowship for Jewish teens ages 12–14 in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. Teens meet Jewish and Israeli innovators in technology, medicine, security, media, and remembrance — then leave prouder of who they already are.

AKLA New York October 18th 2026. A full day at The Squadron, 7 World Trade Center — F-35 flight simulators, the Innovation Lab, Krav Maga, and remembrance — lunch plus round trip transportation included.

    Jewish teens ages 12–14 (or older for New York). Group applications from synagogues, day schools, and youth organizations are welcome.

    Five Sundays

    In Los Angeles and Chicago: inspiring guest speakers, hands-on workshops, and deep Jewish learning. New York is a one-day leadership intensive.

    Leave proud

    Teens leave with a stronger connection to their Jewish heritage—and a clearer sense of how they can shape the future.
